Selecting a graduate business school program can become rather exhausting, due to the many schools around the country which offer several graduate business school programs. However, once you choose an academic program, one must write a MBA Essay as a part of the application process. Kellogg MBA Essay - Nestled on the campus of Northwestern University in Chicago Illinois, it is one of the top five MBA programs in the world. Their MBA essay is to give you the incentive to strive for excellent performance, which is if you can handle it. There are several requirements that are involved with this school's MBA Essays, which is that every applicant is required to answer questions with an essay among one and two pages in length for 1, 2, and 3, along with two essays for question four that are two paragraphs in length.

The school is looking for candidates that show qualified leadership skills and that can make the experience for everyone at Kellogg a pleasant one.

Chicago Booth MBA Essay and Slide Presentation - Nestled on the University of Chicago campus, the Booth School of Business is noted as the world's top business school. Their MBA Essays are not as lengthy as the Kellogg School of Business; however, it separates the leaders from the rest. The requirements are that for question one your essay has a maximum length of 750 words. Question two has a maximum of 1000 words, with option a and b.

Slide Presentation - This is what set Chicago Booth out from other programs. Candidates are required to create a slide presentation in either PDF format or in a Power Point presentation that explains to the Admissions Committee who you are. There is not a right or wrong answer for the actual approach to your presentation.

There is also an optional essay to enlighten the Admissions Committee about anything that you feel they should understand about your qualifications into their program.

Harvard MBA Essay - As one of the most well known academic facilities in



the world, Harvard requires a special type of student; one who could become the next world leader, a Pulitzer Prize winner, or a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. The requirements of their business school are not any different, though their MBA essays are short, around 500 to 600 words; however, they are in depth, and their Academic Committee expects candidates to be prepared for their school's rigorous studies.

Stanford MBA Essay - Stanford has one of the world's leading business schools and is known for its highest student to seat ratio. In recent years, they have done a major overhaul of their MBA Essays and the type of students who are real and not out to go out of their way to impress them. Each essay for their administration has a requirement of at most 1800 words, with Essay A at 750 words, Essay B at 450 words, and Essay C at both 300 words. This is a lot shorter than last year; however, they think that shorter answers will separate the best candidates from the rest of the world.

Wharton MBA Essay - Known as the first collegiate business school in the United States, the Wharton school is very choosy of its students. Their MBA Essays are no different. This financial powerhouse candidate essays are in total of 2500 words, with an optional 250 word essay. These are based on career and life, where individuality is what makes the cut.

MIT Sloan MBA Essay - MIT's Sloan Graduate school has been noted in the top 15 schools in the country. With their revolutionary academic programs, they search for remarkable candidates who show a combination of what you think, how you feel, and so on, and make this one of the most difficult admission essays out of any graduate school. Their essay requirements are in total of 1500 words or less, with each question not being any more than one page. Make sure that you give a brief description for each situation with a descriptive response. Their optional essay is at 250 words or less and limited to only one page.
