Internet marketing is all about making money, that means making sales, that means selling someone elses product when you're an affiliate marketer. There are many ways to boost affiliate sales, but unquestionably cloaking your links can have a significant impact on your click through, and ultimately your sales conversion.

Follow these simple steps to increase your commissions.

You can manually cloak your affiliate link by writing you own HTML programme on your website page. There are many free step by step guides that you can use online that will allow you to do this. It just is a matter of typing 'HTML programmes for link cloaking' into a search engine, finding a suitable programme and copying it into your webpage. However, if you find this prospect to be too daunting there are easier methods.

You can cloak your link by redirecting it. Strictly speaking this is not cloaking per se. Although it achieves the same result. It works by redirecting your link to your affiliate link so that people clicking on your link will never see your affiliate ID. How this works is, a person, who would like to get the product you are promoting, clicks on a relevant link on your webpage.

This link is not an affiliate link but instead redirects through your affiliate link to the sales page of the product that you are

promoting. You can use a programme called a 'jump script' to achieve this yourself. Just type 'jump script' into your favourite search engine and you will find many programmes from which to choose from. Paid website services such as tinyurl.com will do this for you. Thus removing the hassle of having to programme yourself and your link will get redirected for you.

Finally, there is software available that will cloak your link for you. This software is relatively inexpensive to buy and many of them come with additional features to further protect your commissions from unscrupulous characters.

The software is straightforward to use. What is often required is your URL and affiliate link. In some cases, your IP address may be required but that is easy to find. Just run a search on your computer for 'IP address' and you will have it within a matter of minutes.

Cloaking your affiliate links will prevent people from siphoning off your commissions and limiting your profits. If you are interested in Affiliate Marketing cloaking is an absolute must. Many beginners make the mistake of not cloaking their affiliate link and sometimes pay a heavy price as a result. There is a diverse array of methods listed above that should suit everyone's needs.

Take this knowledge and put it into practice and you will reap even more results from your Affiliate Marketing efforts.
