Denny's has been busy adding flavor to their menu as of late, with their special "Late Night Rockstar Menu" featuring dishes that bear the names of prominent musicians and bands currently on the music scene. Most recently Rascal Flatts joined Gym Class Heroes, Sum 41 and Good Charlotte in the area of greasy-fried goodness. The Rascal Flatts' Unstoppable Breakfast is a biscuit topped with country-fried steak, eggs, cheese and gravy that comes with bacon and hashbrowns.
Mmmm...nothing like a good artery-clogging meal after the fiery energy of a live concert. Of course, for many fans, it's hard to beat prices hovering around $3.99. Country music trio the Rascal Flatts has been composing award-winning ballads ever since their formation in the late 1990s. In practically no time at all the band landed a record deal with Lyric Street Records and they released their self-titled debut album in 2000. "Prayin' for Daylight" became their first smash hit single, and that was immediately followed by three other singles, all of which reached the Top Ten on the music charts. These unassuming country-pop ballads portray feelings of love, heartbreak and uncertainty and helped to put the newly formed Rascal Flatts at the forefront of the music industry. Check out songs like: "This Everyday Life," "While You Loved Me" and "It's Not Just Me."
Two years later, the band emerged with their follow-up album
Melt. The record spawned the group's first number one hit song: "These Days." The ballad, as well as the rest of the featured songs on the track list helped to attract a widespread following of fans, especially within the younger generation. With musically superior harmonies and uniquely fresh lyrical content, the album solidified the Rascal Flatts' position in the music industry and foreshadowed even more great records to come.
In 2004 the band let loose another chart-topping album with Feels Like Today. More of a middle-of-the-road album, Feels Like Today drifted away from their previously casual antics and instead focused on polishing and refining their sound. The track list features ballads like: "Bless the Broken Road," "When the Sand Runs Out" and "The Day Before You." While this album clearly wasn't one of their musical breakthroughs, it signaled a certain level of maturity and wisdom that perhaps was less apparent in their previous two releases.
Me and My Gang officially arrived in April 2006 with the standout tracks: "Stand" and "What Hurts the Most." Only a year later they were back with Still Feels Good, which ultimately achieved platinum status before the year's end and spawned the hit single "Take Me There." Rascal Flatts' most recent release is called Unstoppable. The record turns out to be far more overwhelming that the rest of their material, and that's not always a good thing. Nevertheless they have thrived with new popular songs like: "Love Who You Love," "Here Comes Goodbye" and "She'd Be California."
