You have done the hard part. You have found a target market. You have done your market research. You have found a product or service that people want. However, you have come unstuck at the next part of the puzzle - marketing your niche product.

Well, first off congratulations you have successfully completed the trickiest part of niche marketing. Believe it or believe it not you are more than half way there. You are in the final home straight and the finish line is in sight.

It is time to put the foot down and drive home. Devising a marketing strategy for your niche product is not about re-inventing the wheel. All that is required is that you adhere to a proven strategy and follow it through. Use this article as a guide and you will successfully market your niche product or service.

1. Check out your competition. Hopefully, you have competition as this makes it far easier to be successful. This may sound counterintuitive but I promise you it isn't.

Having competition in a niche market means that there is demand for your product or service. More importantly, having competition can be a really useful way of simply emulating their marketing strategy and tweaking it so that it works better for you.

2. A good method for doing this is to check out Clickbank or Paydotcom. See what similar products are being sold. More importantly, check out to see what affiliates or vendors are doing to market their products.

3. Check out their website to see how they are targeting their customers. What methods are



they using? What phrases are they employing? What is their sales letter like? What incentives are they offering to subscribers? This information can be of enormous benefit to you and highlights the value of having competition. Some people have put in months of research into tweaking their strategies. You can take advantage of this and simply replicate their strategy.

4. Use a keyword spy tool such as Keyword Spy to see what keywords your competitors are using. One of the better ways to market your niche product is to use pay-per-click advertising. It is fast and you will see results, good or bad, almost instantly. Analysing the keywords that you competitors are using is a great shortcut that you can take. A handy tip is pick from someone who has being marketing for over two weeks and is still at the top. The chances are this person will have refined their keywords and will have chopped off the ones that were costing money.

5. Do something different from your competitors. Differentiation is a critical factor in internet marketing. Doing something different to distinguish you from everyone else if a great way of ensuring success. It doesn't have to be revolutionary either. If providing contact details in a prominent place makes the difference - do it.

These are just some of the many ways that you can succeed in marketing your niche product or service. The list is far from exhaustive but it does contain some of the main steps that are needed in order to be successful. Put the above into action and you will be successful in your niche marketing.
