In the world of online marketing, you need to have targeted traffic arriving at your website if you want to achieve your dream of becoming a millionaire. But what exactly do we mean by "targeted" traffic? Targeted traffic means that the people visiting your site are likely to buy into whatever it is you have on offer. They are already interested in acquiring your product and arrive at your site predisposed to buy. Many of them will buy your product if they find something that solve their problems.

Your keywords play a vital part in getting targeted traffic - and becoming a millionaire! Let's look at an example. Suppose you are promoting an ebook and video course on learning how to play the guitar. If one of your main keywords is simply "guitar", you'll get a range of visitors to your site with some sort of interest in guitars. Many of them may be looking to buy a guitar. Only a few will probably be seeking advice on learning to play the instrument.

So a keyword phrase like "learn to play guitar" or "how to play guitar" will bring you much more targeted traffic. It's all well and good getting the targeted traffic

to your site, but then you need to convert that traffic into sales if you want to turn your dream of becoming a millionaire into reality. A good way to do this is by gaining the trust of your potential customer. Don't rush right in with a hard-sell. Give the customer time to get to know you. This is important as you are giving time to them to appreciate your work and skills for targetted product.

If we're sticking with the "learn to play guitar" scenario, you might want to tell people a little of the history of the instrument, how it developed from acoustic to the electric version. Give them a little background about some of the great guitar players - Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton etc. Get the idea? You are building a relationship with your potential customer, providing them with information, and establishing your credentials as someone who knows what they're talking about.

Diving right in and saying "I've got the greatest thing in the world for you if you want to learn how to play guitar" isn't going to get you anywhere. Your prospective customer will not become an actual customer until they regard you as someone they trust and respect.
