Apple may not have as many sales as PC's, but many believe they are the better machine for many reasons. The main reason Mac user's claim for their loyalty is Mac's superior usability.
The PC's that I have owned and used at work seem to be far more susceptible to viruses, spy ware and other nasty unwanted, harmful programs. There was a point when I was promoting a website submitting to directories that my pc was so littered with Trojan horses, spy ware and keystroke software that my computer would not even let me log in to the Internet.
To fix this problem, I had to take it to a trusted local PC clean up store. They told me how common these problems are with PC's. They showed me the report and I had over 250 different spy wares installed on my PC and other files that completely froze my computer when trying to log on to the Net.
Now, with my PC I have to run 3 different kinds of programs a week to clean up all of the viruses I pick up. With my Apple, this problem is nonexistent.
My PC's were much more likely to crash or freeze up on me, always at the worst time too it seemed. Running my disc cleaning software does help with this, but not nearly enough. With my Mac, crashes are unheard of.
The reason that Mac's do not crash is that they have a better operating system. Mac's superior security protocols and extensive testing make a crash next to impossible.
Mac's are also great for work. You can do amazing things with a Mac. Mac's are better for making movies, graphic design, managing your blog or even making a podcast. Mac's come complete with virtually everything you need to make anything you may need. A PC owner will have to purchase a small fortune worth of software to compete with what a Mac can do.
The Mac's operating system is another advantage over a PC. Microsoft Vista is not all it is cracked up to be. In fact, all of the good parts of Vista have long been in practice for the Mac's operating system. Mac OS X is easy and convenient. It does not constantly interrupt you the way Microsoft Vista does.
Another reason Mac OS X is better than Vista is that Vista comes in different strengths with different pricing and with different features. The Mac OS X is one size fits all which keeps things simple. And in so many cases with technology, simplicity is key.
Another reason that Apple computers are better than PC's is that not only do they function better, but they also are fashioned much better. Most PC's are bulky and are an eye sore. Mac's are sleek, stylish and complement what ever room they are in. Apple computers are like a piece of art on a desk.
The previously stated reasons make it a no brainer for your next computer for home or work. The Mac not only works better, is more secure, but it also is cool and looks great.
