You want to relieve back pain quickly, which is the goal of most people who suffer with back pain. Firstly can I warn you...

Relieving back pain is great, as long as you still aim to remove all the causes. If not your back pain will repeat again and again.

Below is a simple technique you can do to relieve back pain, and it will work quickly. But it will work only for short term back pain relief.

If you are unsure of the causes of your back pain then I'll explain. There are three main structural causes. Yes there are also stress, health and fitness causes also. But more on that in another article.

Muscles and joints are the common physical causes of your pain.

You have muscles that are too tight, others that are weak. The weak muscles can be broken down further to those with a poor nerve or blood supply, as well a spoor overall strength.

If the muscle has a poor supply you need to stimulate the muscle to increase the blood and nerve supply before you attempt to exercise it.

The other physical cause is your joints. Joints can slow in motion and also become out of balance. The balance is more related to your pelvis and feet, which need to be corrected.

But first you would like to have back pain relief now.

Tight muscles are the cause of

almost 75% of your pain. It is these tight knotted fibers that can actually cause almost all of your pain. You can reduce tension in these fibers and relieve back pain quickly.

All you need to do is find the tight knots and then place firm pressure on these areas. Hold the pressure for a few seconds and then take a deep breath in and out. Make sure you relax as you breathe out and the tension in the muscle will reduce.

You can repeat this a few times on each knot and you will find the pain and size of the lump will decrease.

You may find numerous areas in your muscles that have these tight knotted fibers. You need to check each muscle in the area of pain and also other muscles as these fibers (trigger points) can refer pain also.

It is best to go for a walk or take a hot bath once you release these trigger points. The increase in blood supply from walking or the bath helps to remove any toxins created from these points.

It is a simple process to relieve back pain temporarily. You still need to address the underlying causes of your back pain if you want long lasting back pain relief. Releasing trigger points will help to ease your suffering now and is a good technique to use when in pain.
