If you're looking for an opportunity to make some extra cash while working from home then please read on for a really "real" opportunity. Seriously! And what is it you're probably wondering? It's a company owned by Amazon (ever heard of them?) called Mturk.
Let me tell you about my typical day working for MTurk. It starts off once my children are in school, I sit in my living room, or now outside on the back porch and review the hits to see what interests me. I am confident that I am able to find an adequate number of hits that suit my interest. I have been able to average about $50.00 a week working with them, as I said I will not get rich doing this, but it does help me pass the time and allows me the opportunity to make some cash that I can use for things that I want and or need.
This site is a great option for stay at home moms to make extra spending money. I do not believe that anyone will get rich from working with MTurk however it is a great opportunity for someone to make some extra cash, to either go on that date with or to save toward a larger goal.
There are some great benefits from working with them as compared with other work from home opportunities out there. With this site you have the opportunity to select the jobs you are interested in and can weed out the ones that you have no desire to work on. It provides its workers with the opportunity to work the hours they want to work without the need to provide a set schedule to MTurk. They are reliable,
dependable and is a part of a larger organization that you can rely on paying you for services rendered.
The "hits" (what the jobs are called at MTurk) vary from recreating sentences, categorizing web sites to creating articles. I have seen everything from entering your coke reward codes to answering silly questions. Granted some of the hits do not pay that well but when you consider the amount of time and effort that is required for them it is a fair amount of pay for the hit. It is very important for the workers to do their very best on every hit, you can not just enter anything as the requester's have the right to reject poor work.
Rejections, or hits returned by the requester, has an adverse effect on your overall rating as a worker. The more hits you are rejected on, the lower your rating and the less hits you are qualified to work on. Some requester's require that you have a certain approval rating prior to doing their hits, while others require that you undergo additional testing for their hits.
Best of all, I can work on the hits as I do other day-to-day things - you know, like answer the phone and if need be keep an eye on the children. I am not required to sign in every day and will not be penalized if I do not work for a number of days in a row, or even months in a row. For me and my family I have found that MTurk is the perfect option for me to make some extra cash along the way to support my shopping habits and for that reason I will keep on working there.
