This year, the Cobb Galleria Centre played host to the 31st annual home show in Atlanta, Georgia. Thousands were in attendance to view some of the newest and most inspirational contemporary and futuristic furniture. Contemporary furniture designers revelled in the praise they received from guests and other designers alike.
The Metro Home Show will take place from April 10, 2009 until April 12, 2009 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, ON. There will be more than 250 home and garden specialists in attendance. Professionals will be on hand to answer your questions and help you choose the perfect contemporary garden furniture.
The Ideal Home Show in London, founded in 1908 by Wareham Smith, is one of Britain's longest running exhibitions. This year, it is being held at Earls Court from March 20, 2009 until April 13, 2009. This year's theme is "Improve-Don't Move". The primary focus is going to be refurnishing your existing home instead of moving. In today's economy, it's much easier to refurnish than sell and buy!
Celebrity Guest Lists at Home Shows
It comes as no surprise that celebrities love nice things. Something they love even more is getting the first glimpses of newly designed items. The unique furniture on display will not be limited to the interior of your home, but will include the exterior as well. Built by the organisers, the centrepiece of the Ideal Home Show is the Smarter Living house, a house designed & built around the theme of recycling, environmentally friendly sustainable living. Inside you'll see the very best new gadgets and appliances designed for good looks, high performance and clever ways of saving space, energy and money. All will be demonstrated live in 15 to 20 minute interactive presentations that take place throughout the day.
Outside, the Smarter Living garden features the very contemporary Radice Quadrado aluminium garden table, which is very aesthetically pleasing. It is made from solid aluminium and measures 2.9M. All weather and eco friendly finishes lend an air of sophistication to each piece of contemporary garden furniture.
Also on display is the Forest Garden Armchair. Echoing the shape of a tree in winter, this particular garden chair is one of the many unusual items that you can expect to see at EDF Energy's Ideal Home Show. All sorts of futuristic and naturalistic furniture will be on display for the viewing pleasure of all who attend.
Garden lighting will also be featured at the Classic Show Home, whilst outdoor fires feature in the Contemporary Show house garden.
