If you don't follow these rules, the driver actually has the right to refuse to pick up your package. That is why when you're getting ready for the pickup that the most important thing can sometimes be just making sure that you've run through the checklist for packing that your company has given you and make sure that you stick to everything that is included in it. That way you won't experience any delays or extra fees for not being ready for shipping if the driver refuses your package for not following those clearly stated rules.
