The mesothelioma symptoms that most people experience can be very detrimental. These symptoms are somewhat different for each person, but there are commonalities that exist. They are often short of breath, and the pain that they are in can keep them from the activities that they enjoyed before their symptoms began. There are treatments available, though, with surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy being popular options.
These can prolong the life of people with mesothelioma symptoms, and they can be a comfort to families and friends who do not want to lose the people that they care about. However, they do not work for everyone. When the symptoms are very advanced, it can mean that the disease has progressed far enough that the treatments normally used to save lives may not work. This is largely why it is necessary to move forward with the diagnosis and treatment of mesothelioma symptoms when they first appear.
