Once the gel is applied to the teeth then the light is held up to them to speed the whitening process - unlike other pastes and gels the white lightening system acts much more quickly than most other products - it is also less invasive than surgery.
There are drawbacks to the teeth whitening system mentioned above as the dual process of gel and the white light have provoked allergies in a number of users. For this reason the manufacturers of the white lightening system recommend that the process should not be used for more than ten minutes at a time. This system also comes with its own instruction manual to explain the proper use of the product. You can continue using this and get refills for the gel until your teeth have reached the degree of whiteness that you want.
