Okay, so you've read a book, watched some dvds or online video seminars or spoke to some guys who seem really switched on and tell you they're making a lot of money online. You've probably done some research, maybe more than some and have some good ideas.

You've got the internet marketing bug. And it feels great. Exponetial opportunity, work from home, low overheads, no staff. Can it get any better?

But if you hope to ever really make money, then you must pay attention to the following. Otherwise, it could all turn into a bundle of good ideas that you never made any money from. Most commonly because of a failure to execute. So differentiate yourself and get it done.

Here's what to do next -

1) focus - the word focus has been described as an anacronym for follow one course until successful. And that's a huge piece of the secret of success. At the beginning give your self a chance and choose
a single objective, for example to sell 100 products by a certain date,

2) prioritise momentum - now that you're clear on your goal, your objective you have to break it down. What are the major steps that you must accomplish to bring you closer to achieving that goal? Once you know what those steps are get them in sequence and start at the beginning.

Train yourself to work on getting things done in sequence, and get them done.

3) join a goal

group/ support group/ momentum group or get a mentor - the value of accountability, or even a second opinion is huge. This fits in well with point 2 in that discussing your momentum plan with a goal group or mentor adds the reality test to your good ideas, and can significantly help to focus attention on the things that really need to be done to move you towards achieving your goal,

Another huge benefit in becoming a member of such a goal or momentum group is that, your detached and objective opinion on the business plans of your fellow group members serves to teach, as well as get teached.

4) keep your goal in mind - when things seem tough as they sometimes can, remind yourself of what your goal is. Picture it in your mind, and you will realise that through the power of consistency and persistence,

5) as you set and achieve your individual objectives, your small milestones, remember to celebrate them. Consider the tennis player who celebrates every point he wins, that only serves to drive them on to win more points. In the same way you want to celebrate your victories, no matter how small and never forget that if a journey's worth making, its worth enjoying,

7) get it done - as always this is the most important piece of the jigsaw. Plan your work, work your plan. Get the job done, and make as much money as you can.
