Some people might begin dating someone else when they are a sophomore in high school and find that they are deeply in love with the other person in the middle of their senior year. As they study for tests at school, they must also take time to prepare for college entrance exams. It might suddenly occur to them that they will be leaving the one they love in a very short amount of time.
When a girl is dating someone who is college bound, she might tend to fool herself into thinking that everything will be fine. Some people truly believe that true love is possible even if they are not present in each others sight for months at a time. The difference in locations should not bother people who know they are dating someone who is college bound. Hearts might break when these couples part but they are sure to break at some point down the road too.
The college setting is very different from that experienced on a high school level. Couples are very open about the robust affection they feel for one another and that spirit seems to be catching. Most college students are delighted to get involved in relationships even if they occur several months out of the year.
The thoughts that a college freshmen might have about the loved one that was left behind to finish high school are often blurred many times by the beautiful women who are willing to expose more than their souls to them at college. They might succumb to the temptations when these beautiful women assure them that they do not want to ruin a relationship and that they only want to be lovers for a while.
This type of dating might work well for a while, but the college freshmen will probably be very careful to keep the new women in their life separated from their true loves on visiting days at the college. They might continue on the dating adventures with both women for some time until someone gets pregnant or the dating stress begins to cause academic problems.
Dating someone that is college bound demands a great level of trust on both sides. The people cannot have any illusions about what could happen at both schools that they attend. There are high school proms that will require dates and parties where they are certain to meet others. The true commitment to dating while living in separate locations is tough at times but can survive with a large amount of love.
