The employees should be aware that these regulations exist to back them up so that they can file for accident at work compensation. For the uninformed individual, the United Kingdom might look as if it is in the middle of a "compensation culture" where people might seem to be waiting for an accident to happen so that they can make money out of it. These existing regulations were written and passed in order to protect the employees' rights to be compensated for the injury, diseases, depression, loss of the ability to earn, and other things that they have to endure after the accident.
