to help you get off on the right foot when you start your career, as well as job placement services.

If you decide to join a union, you would be doing so as an apprentice. Joining a union as an apprentice also has the benefit of job security once you are licensed. The best option would be to do both, that way after your apprenticeship and schooling you would be able to request a handsome starting salary.

Once your schooling and apprenticeship is completed the next step in how to become a plumber would be to search for a job. The last step in how to become a plumber is your accreditation. This is an important requirement; it shows future employers, and future customers that you have a full grasp on not only the concept of plumbing but that you are a capable and valued plumber. Once you have the accreditation your career as a plumber can go anywhere, maybe you will want to start your own plumbing contracting company, or maybe you want to use your plumbing skills and education to become a teacher.
