The lodge is spread over 83 acres of land which attracts people of all ages to its rustic folds. The dining at the Lodge suits the surrounding there and the guests are served thrice a day with delicious "country gourmet" meals which refurbishes the energy that is lost during the activities.
Accommodations at Earthshine Mountain Lodge: The mountain lodge offers ten guest rooms in the main lodge which are furnished with patchwork quilts, stained glass lamps, log beds and private baths. Out of these eight of the rooms have private balconies and "Little House on the Prairie" lofts.
Sunrise Cottage: There is also an exclusive cottage on the premises which houses three separate family
suites offering plenty of privacy and space, breath-taking views, gas fireplaces and private bathrooms.

Family Vacation Activities:
Pioneer Morning: Visit to the 1840 era and the pioneer lifestyle. Activities include blacksmithing, cider making, candle dipping enjoyed by from the oldest to the younger member of the family.
Cherokee Morning: An attempt to live the way the Cherokees did and engaging in simple activities like making pottery and throwing tomahawks.
Creek Hike: Hiking across the Crystal Creek to find the pretty gems it has to offer. This is one of the most beautiful spots in North Carolina.
Outdoor Education Program:
Destination 1840: This is for the fourth graders and above and is a live play about the life and struggle between the Cherokees and the outside settlers. It takes the student back to the 1840s and portrays the relationship that developed between the two races.
Earth Explorers: This program focuses on the 4-6 grade students and is a science program which is unique in that it takes the students through the various phases of curiosity and the quest for knowledge.
Success: This program focuses on removing the various mental blocks that the students have developed over the years and tries to free them of this problem. It gives them a feeling of self-confidence and self-worth.
Scout Troops: The scout troops in this program earn badges for a variety of activities like environment, ecology, nature, creative solutions, and many more.
