Beer Festival: One of the most popular events in Virginia Beach is the Annual Beer Festival which is held in combination with the Virginia Arts Festival. It is organized on the Elizabeth River Pavilion and Pier in Downtown Norfolk. This festival is host to over three dozen domestic and international breweries. The festival also features great music and delicious food which is a treat for any family. There are tickets available for both those who want to taste and those who just want to enjoy the spring day. There is a boating dock spots available for the mariners who want to enjoy the event from both land and sea.
Car Show: The Virginia Beach Car Show is one of the most fun filled and amazing events organized in the town. It features the vintage cars and trucks competing for trophies and cash prizes at this one day event. Hot Rods, Street Machines, Classic Cars and Trucks line the boardwalk for 25 blocks, where a huge crowd of car enthusiasts and families view over 200 vehicles in a beautiful beach setting.
Festa Italiana: The city is an amalgamation of various cultures and celebrates the presence of Italian culture with full enthusiasm and joie de vivre. The Festa Italiana is the festival which celebrates the Italian culture in town for two days. The festival features delicious Italian cuisine, Italian wine and beer and also some really fun filled family entertainment activities like grape stomping. It is a fun filled day of Pasta, Pizza, Sandwiches and mouth watering Desserts.
Virginia Beach is in fact one of the best places to retreat from the daily hustle and bustle of the busy city life and all these festivals add an extra zing to the whole idea.
